Here’s how you can keep supporting your local escape room during lockdown.

One of the silver linings of the lockdown is the burst in creativity from the escape room community. Owners and puzzlemakers across the globe have adapted to these unusual circumstances with a flurry of innovative and exciting games.

There are a handful of escape rooms in Wales that have followed suit. So if you want to support these venues (and don’t fancy buying a gift card), feast your eyes on what’s on offer.

Paniq Rooms

The Dollhouse – Portable escape room

An portable escape room for hire, this 90-minute puzzle game is self-contained inside a dollhouse and makes for a good family/bubble puzzle night in.

The game is currently £30 to hire (plus £30 refundable deposit)

Escape Rooms Cardiff

SECTOR X: The B.R.U.C.E. Project – Escape room style video game

A joint venture between Bewilder Box and Eltham Escapes, The BRUCE Project is a point-and-click puzzle game where players can interact with the puzzles simultaneously. Even when in different countries!

The game is £15 and you can have 1-6 players.

The Escape Game (Swansea/Camarthen)

The Escape Game At Home – Live remote escape room

The Escape Game has transposed a number of its rooms to be played remotely via Zoom.

Games are £45 for up to six connections. They also have a free online puzzle hunt called The Assassin.
