The Excavation: Puzzle 06

You turn a corner and find yourself at a dead end. A long narrow corridor stretches before you, ending in a large shrine to the sky god at different times of the day.

You gaze up to find the ceiling painted like the night sky, faded gold stars smiling down at you.

The shrine has three large niches emblazoned with symbols – a sun, a moon and a star. Which do you press?

What do those eight circles represent? The message on the statue may help.
Hint 2
You’ve got the eight planets and a specific number to the left or right of them. Whether they’re on the left or right is important.
Hint 3
Take the J in Jupiter and move left by one. What do you get? What happens if you apply the same logic to the other planets?
Take the capital letter of each planet and move left or right in the alphabet by the number marked next to it. This will spell out DAYLIGHT, so you should press the SUN glyph.
