Wales escape room update [FEBRUARY 2020]

January escape room Wales update

Here’s a quick rundown of new rooms, closures and promotions going on in Wales this month.

With a brand new year comes some brand new rooms! Here we welcome some new games onto the Welsh escape scene, and say goodbye to some others.

New rooms and closures

Exitus Escape Rooms have teamed up with Tenovus Cancer Care to create Virus Tinkerers. This replaces their previous room, Plague (check out my review!)

They will also be closing theirt Chrtistmas Chaos room on 12 February (check out my review!)

Not a new venue, but one I’ve just discovered. Alpha Ops is a two-hour escape experience where players have to plan and execute a heist in a building to steal some tech.

South Wales

AdventureRooms have opened their Bridgend venue to the public. AdventureRooms Bridgend has one room at the moment – Mad Scientist (check out my review of the Cardiff room!) with Sabotage to follow.

Newcomer AlphaOps is currently running 20% off their break-in experience with the code ALPHAFEB20.

Due to the overwhelming demand for their launch of Virus Tinkerers, Exitus Escape Rooms Cardiff are running a £50 flat booking on Virus Tinkerers, £10 of which goes to Tenovus Cancer Care. This offer is regardless of team size, so two players pay £25 each – six players pay £8 each.

The offer is valid between 19-21 February and is limited to the first 10 bookings.

Mansion of Mystery in Pembrokeshire are ringing in the New Year with 10% off bookings of their Time Machine room until 14 February. Use code TIMESLIP when you book.

Escape Reality in Cardiff are running a £40 flat booking on their rooms Fibonnaci, Enigmista and Misery (check out my review!). This offer is regardless of team size, so two players pay £20 each – six players pay under £7 each. The offer is valid until 14 February.
